Use with OpenOffice

I've just purchased Mindjet for PC having used it on phone and tablet. Unlike another mapping tool that I've used, Mindjet seems to require an installed version of MS Office rather than simply exporting MS Office files (which OpenOffice can open).

Is there a facility to export mindmaps and associated notes, etc for use by OpenOffice?

@ARY.
Yes.
Export to MS Word & MS Powerpoint are grayed out. Export to CSV results in all structure being lost. The export to web page (not tested fully) produces a number of files which would need to be imported (into OpenOffice) and re-assembled.
My previous experience (other mapping software) is of an MS Word export file that contains the map as an image and the words (nodes, branches, notes, etc) as text (styled as headings, normal, bullets, etc).
