Vertical & horizontal scrolling

Whilst I am able to vertically scroll on my touchpad and using my click-wheel mouse, I cannot horizontally scroll using either - instead I have to use the scroll bar which is inconvenient.

Horizontal scrolling support is a basic productivity requirement - why is this not provided in MindManager?

Thank you

MIndManger did a better job for you to solve this.
You don't even have to use the click wheel on your mouse for that

If you press the left button on your touchpad, you will see the mouse indicator changes into a Hand.
The same happens if you press the left button on your mouse,
Now you can scroll vertical, horzontal, diagonal, in circles, etc just by moving your mouse or your finger on the touchpad

Thank you. Works well with a mouse. Feels awkward on touchpad, but shall see if improves with practice.

This is an alternative approach, but it isn't better, it's just different. And it's only really a good option when using a mouse. The appropriate thing would be to include both options, as in many other apps.

Although I appreciate the hand, it relies on the mouse's tracking speed. This means that if a map is huge, you have to click and drag many times. That would be fine, but you cannot do this click-drag operation quickly, because you have to wait for the hand to appear after you click, before dragging (otherwise, you draw a selection rectangle). It turns into a silly fight with the tool.

We are professionals looking for quick ways to navigate large documents. Unfortunately, the hand and the middle mouse button fall short in comparison to a simple native side-scroll capability in terms of speed and responsiveness.

Just to be clear for the Mindjet team: vertical scrolling on a trackpad works, why hasn't horizontal scrolling been implemented?
