Web exported linked maps don't change links between maps to web links

I am trying to create a set of web pages that are created from separate maps.  I have created links between the maps by using the copy as link function and pasting that in to the insert link dialogue.  I use View..Linked Maps and Web Export, and have used the Convert link to web page link in the Advanced section of the link creation dialogue.  When I look at the pages the links are there but they do not work and if I hover over them I can see that they start with mj-map:/// which looks like it hasn't converted them.  What am I doing wrong?

Probably same problem as I have.

MM seems to use absolute links instead of relative links. That is, they always point to your harddrive, not to the webpage.

Instead of xx:///mypath/path2/mywebbpage.html, it should be just be mywebpage.html or ../ddd or web/mywebpage.html if index.html is at a lower path.

Changing setup in links, there is no effect in my 2020 pro version.

Maybe a bug??

Where can you buy a MM 2020 pro version?

Hmm, a lot of experimentation later suggests to me that I need to get our IT to buy us an alternative bit of software as this problem isn't going away.

Have you considered a different -easier- approach for linking maps?
e.g. use the send to linkedmap function?

I've just been playing with Visio and got it to publish a two sheet htm file where the link I put on one Visio sheet took me to the other.  I think it is likely that I'll switch to Visio as I do other stuff in there already and can start threading it all together.  Thanks for the tip though I will take another look at it.
