When will there be a new and better version of Mindjet Maps for Android?

As a faithful Mindjet customer I am wondering why Mindjet Maps for Android is not being updated as a quality, commercial app should? The latest version in the Google Play Store was released October 2, 2013. That's 9 MONTHS ago. It has been my experience that if a commercial developer like Mindjet has not updated its app in 9 months, that is indicative of a very serious problem.

My questions:
  1. Why isn't Mindjet taking the Android platform more seriously? The Android operating sytem has an 80% market share of smartphone operating systems (ABI Research). That's more than the Windows, iOS and MAC OS devices combined.
  2. Why are you leaving so many Android users stranded with an embarrassingly poor Mindjet app on the Android platform.
  3. Why won't MMFA properly open a map that was created on the Window desktop with an Organizational Chart layout?
  4. Why does MMFA wreck Mindjet maps created on the Windows platform that have tasks linked to the topics?
I could go on. Mindjet's irresponsible silence on this important product is frustrating and disappointing.

Please speak up. I am seriously considering cancelling my Mindjet subscription and going on to one of your many competitors. I don't want to do that, but your silence and irresponsibility leave me with little choice.

Last chance.... WHAT SAY YOU, MINDJET???

Thank you.

At this point, we are working on new MindMapping technologies that we hope to have operational on every platform.  To do this, we will likely replace the technology of the entire app from the ground up.  This will take a considerable amount of time, and because it is a new venture, we can't say for certain how much time it will be.  When we do release the new app, however, issues about map compatibility between platforms would be greatly improved upon, given that all platforms will have the same core technology.

Big mistake to delay things so long, rebuild or not. Work on improving the existing Android product so that it is more compatible with the desktop version. Wasted time is opportunity lost. In today's highly competitive environment, Mindjet cannot afford to let the grass grow under their feet.

From a public relations stand point and from a good customer relationship standpoint, Mindjet really needs to open up more and tell us faithful customers when these issues with your Android product will be resolved. I applaud the effort to have a technology that is universal across platforms. But the company has to break the silence and tell us when the issues with the Android product will get fixed.

Customers put their trust behind their dollars. We support and pay for Mindjet technology because we honestly believe that Mindjet cares for their customers.

However, the complete silence and neglect of Mindjet in giving your customers who also rely on the Android platform is tremendously unnerving. It is quickly eroding trust. Why silence? Why not tell us what's up AND TIME FRAMES.

The silence of Mindjet on its Android product has lasted almost a year -- October 2, 2013 was the last time any update of the product was made available to us paying customers. That is intolerable.  And that release was full of bugs and incompatibilities with the other platforms.

Please pass my concerns on to the highest levels of Mindjet. Or you will lose this faithful customer. And I will let others know that Mindjet apparently can't be relied upon.

I await Mindjet company tangible -- time frames, please -- response.

Thank you.

Similar question: I use and android phone and an iphone. so I am especially struggling: Why is the Android Version so different from the iOS version? The look and feel, but also how you edit your files is completely different. For example: Checked out maps have a red lock in Android and green lock in iOS. Isn't there the same specification for both apps?
