Start topic (green) doesn't display Revision Number despite selecting it (View-Detail-Show/Hide) Where is it - anyone know?

For Special formats like Flowcharts that have No Central Topic where you could use Show/Hide, you can find this via File - Info - Statistics.

Thanks.  That's awkward.  Need all maps to behave the same or the learning curve for the organization becomes unnecessarily steep.  Hopeful David Walsh reading....please put on update candidate list!

As mentioned before, with MindManager you can create (mind-)maps (blue) and special format diagrams (green) They are not the same and have a different purpose.
However you can combine them. See the excellent help pages on the subject or contact a trainer nearby.

They are all maps - to call them otherwise will confuse people.  Their purpose is the same - to capture and share complex information streams to enable better decision making.  Formatting is just that.  Timeline is a special format map and that can have Rev Number and date displayed.  What I am saying, for Mindjet, is to keep this on the list of improvements.

Timelines actually have a central topic which is the starting point for the timeline. Flowcharts and concept maps are essentially a collection of floating topics connected by relationship lines with, as Ary indicated, no central topic. Unfortunately this means no revision number or modification date.

The alternative I suppose would be to place the revision number/date in the first topic inserted in a flowchart/concept map, but this could be a bit arbitrary, especially as you can delete any topic in one of these maps (unlike "conventional" maps in which the central topic can't be deleted). This may also confer on this topic the sense that it is a central topic, which some users may not want.

One option would be to add the capacity to insert a special floating topic showing the revision date/number into any map in any position. This would also be useful for users who would like to show the revision number in a conventional map but not on the central topic.
