I just want to import a word list with 36 items (I also tried it in EXCEL form) into a mind map with 36 'boxes'. Result, using the import function, is I get all the 36 items in a notes box; so I have to copy paste each item into a separate box. Helpdesk chat guy told me this feature does not exist in Mindmanager. Couldn't believe what I read. Looks like Flintstone age. Maybe I asked the wrong question. Hope someone here can help me. I'll start doing it manually anyway. This is loss of time. But I expect more of these exercises. Thanks in advance.

Hi Daan,

To import the Word Document correctly, it must first be formatted in MS Word using Headings and Styles.

For an example on the structure, open MindManager and choose File>Export> and choose Word, then navigate to the 'Document Styles' tab.

Thank for the swift reply. It does not work yet, but I suppose I'll have to invest more time. Cannot call this solution 'user friendly'.
Also via excel it isn't self evident. Just a lot of hassle about something that should be simple.
When exchanging these files between WORD and Pages it is not an issue; it just works, even if the applications are each others competitors.
