Work gets lost - not saving to cloud when closing

This morning I checked out a map. I spent all day in seminars updating it. When I closed Mindjet (Android, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10) the map was not uploaded to the cloud and all my work today was lost.

This seems to happen regularly.

1. Is there a way to recover this lost data?
2. How can I prevent further losses?

Given that the automatic save simply doesn't work reliably, MindJet for Android needs a prominent save button.

We are seeing some slowness in synching between Android and Mindjet Files. We're looking into it--to avoid this in the short term, I'd recommend creating your maps locally, and using the copy function to load them to Mindjet Files. Cumbersome, I know, but you're experiencing this regularly, it's the safest route until we have a diagnosis and a fix. Thanks.
