Every Mindmapper knows that colour is important.
It helps you focus on what you want to do.
It helps you find stuff faster.
It helps you to be more productive.

In MM version 16, the colours in the ribbons and other menu bars have gone. They are replaced by some kind of blue.

I think this is a bad idea, since it makes me less productive, less creative and it takes a lot of time to get used to the new user interface.

So please give me back my colours.

I too have noticed that when working in 2016 I find the identification of the Task Pane Tabs difficult with the new flat icons.

The color element adds another dimension to a visual and aids recognition as well as those things mentioned by Ary above.

Would it be possible to have an option of running 2016 with the previous icon set?

Regards
Nigel

The task panes pop-up menu is now much quicker to use than the tabs.

Dear Ary.

As I ́m not a developer of MindManager I cant answer to why the color scheme was changed. With that said, if your struggling to find the flow in the new layout my advice would be to right click on any Icon in the top menu bar and open "Customize the Ribbon." That allows you to personalize your menu bar with your favorite functions in the order you like to have them. Most functions can also be found by right clicking on a topic in your map. Hope this helps you to get your productive and creative back on track.

Kind regards

Did mindjet added the option back to customize and add color in MM2017? Not sure why is it that mindjet apparently don't listen to their customers. Is my perception. I hope with the new COREL management visión this changes for the better in future.

I am somehow not surprised, but surely disappointed with the status.
Hope for the best

Not sure if I can apply this example but recently I heard that in culinary arts or fine dine restaurants, food represents around 30% of the overall experience the rest is about the location, the environment, how food is presented on a plate, service etc. I still think MM can do a lot more by looking at the details of their product and how to enhance the overall experience to improve innovation and creativity.
