Map Parts are very useful, but MM doesn't browse them as it should. Give us an option to increase the size of displayed Map Parts in our browser. More complex map parts are displayed that small, that we cannot really read their content.

thanks, Michael

I originally thought the post was about making the mindjet internet browser zoomable, which I also think is a must. I agree that the map part thumbnails are very limited - would like the ability to easily change the thumbnail or simply use topic name to make it easier to manage and find customer map parts. While there is a way to change the thumbnail, it takes too many steps and it reverts to the default image anytime you edit the map part.

In the opposite direction, it would good to have an alternative list view of map parts, so you can quickly see all available map parts.

A folder would also help if you using large numbers of map parts e.g. Project, Meeting, ....

To clarify, you can create folders IN MM2012 and MJ11 in both the Map Parts folder and in the Favorites sub-folder and organise them as Andrew describes.

This effectively creates a de facto list view if you limit each folder to one map part. However these folders are not automatically sorted and can't be reordered manually, so you need to be clear about the order before creating them.

Once upon a time, there was a list view option for the Map Parts, and it can still be seen grayed out in the right-click menu. There must have been some technical reason that it was disabled and cannot be reinstated.

Interesting - I hadn't noticed that before!

A search through Mindjet's old forums reveals that this was first reported as a complaint by someone moving from MM7 to 8 in 2009.

An MJ rep responded as follows: "Yes, it looks like this may be a bug introduced in 7.2. A bug report will be submitted for MM 8.1 service pack" (see comments here: http://forum.us.mindjet.com/viewtopic... ).

A year later nothing had been done and obviously the situation is unchanged in 2013.
